Dennis Fox

Dr. Fox examines the intersection of psychology, law, justice, and political theory. A member of the "critical psychology" movement, he critiques mainstream psychology's role in maintaining an unsatisfactory status quo, focusing especially on areas within psychological jurisprudence, the connection between law and injustice, and the relevance of anarchist theory to social psychology. In 1993 he co-founded the Radical Psychology Network (www.radpsynet.org), consisting of psychologists, students, and others in three dozen countries. In 2006 he was a Fulbright Senior Specialist in Peace and Conflict Resolution Studies at Ben Gurion University, Be'er Sheva, Israel, and a consultant in Law and Society at Birzeit University, Ramallah, Palestinian West Bank. In 2009 he was a Fulbright Distinguished Lecturing Chair at York University, Toronto.
